I just finished doing one of my custom album designs for Natalie and Brian's wedding at Empire Mine. It came out so beautifully and I think that it really makes a difference to SEE the images in the album format. I do ALL my design in-house and try to keep to a simple layout. Nevada County Weddings

Whenever I talk to a new client about my current residence, I often get questions like....Where is Grass Valley? Or... How far are you from San Francisco? How did you end up out there? A complete leap of faith landed us in the Sierra Foothills and 5 years later I'm realizing how much that move has changed me for the better. It's a slower paced life for sure, but in a small space we have it all... natural beauty, a local food movement, artists, writers, and musicians... pretty much everything that matters to me.

Not many people know that there are some AMAZING places to get married up here. The Empire Mine, Villa Montagna, Highlands River Ranch, Pilot Peak Winery, the Yuba River, The Miners Foundry... just to name a few. Today I'd like to share a few photos from Grass Valley and Nevada City weddings. Does this make you want to move? Or at least plan your wedding out here.....it's not that far, I promise.
